Immaculate Conception School

Since 1854, Immaculate Conception (ICS) has educated the youth of the South Bronx, fostering a strong community both inside and outside of the school. With the school located just ten blocks from Yankee Stadium, our student body hails from all over the extended neighborhood.

ICS prides itself on creating an inclusive environment that respects and celebrates diversity. We offer excellent academics in a safe environment and a values-based education that encourages our students to use their talents in the service of others.

We offer rigorous academic classes in math, science, language arts, social studies, and religion. Enrichment courses in music and the creative arts further develop students’ interests. Students use iPads and other technology to augment their classroom learning. They participate in hands-on experiments in the science lab and visit the library at least once per week for research and for pleasure. Students have regular access to the gym and playground to promote healthy habits and fitness.

The ICS family ensures its students grow with integrity and graduate prepared for high school and beyond. Our students go on to attend top high schools in the community, using the skills and values developed at ICS to forge fulfilling, bright futures.
